# Norexa Introduction

Norexa is a fully autonomous execution layer for DeFi, enabling the deployment and coordination of permissionless, bonded agents. These agents can execute high-value tasks like:

* Yield Optimization
* Arbitrage
* Governance Execution
* Portfolio Rebalancing

Norexa introduces a modular and economically aligned framework where agents operate autonomously, are financially incentivized for good performance, and penalized for underperformance or misconduct.
